Following 3½ years of training in all things bakery in Denmark, Liudmila’s passion for baking was only growing. To continue learning and expand on her repertoire, she moved to France, working as a baker in the 3 Michelin stared restaurant “Le Petit Nice – Passedat” in Marseille.
In 2018 she moved to Prague and worked at some of Prague’s best Artisan bakeries, honing her craft still further. As more and more bakeries moved their production to factories, Liudmila could feel the loss of the craftsmanship and joy that she cares so deeply about. And so the dream of Joy Bakery came to be, a place that did things properly, that baked with care, passion and, of course, joy.
Joy Bakery opened in April 2023 and has already been greeted with open arms by the community.
